Handmade by Jessops Amethyst Lacey Drop Station Bib Necklace in Gold

Vintage amethyst station bib necklace handmade by Jessops in the 1930’s. There are six, prong set emerald cut amethysts brought to the United States from Russia in the 1920’s. Their total weight is 70.25ctw. The amethysts are set in a 14K high polish lace mounting. The station is supported by a string of alternating ball and bar links. The dimensions of the necklace are Station - 133.4mm x 82.6mm, Width - 7.2mm, with a length of sixteen inches. The overall weight without the stones is 40.9dwt/63.61g. The necklace is finished with a spring ring clasp.
